Jackson has always held a special place in Hadyn’s heart. An avid skier, he spent four years here after graduating from college. He met his wife in Jackson before the couple moved to the East Coast for Hadyn’s career. Then, while on a ski vacation with his family, Hadyn met Judy Singleton, who hired him as a Financial Advisor in 2014. After six years on staff, he became a partner in the firm on July 1, 2020.
Man With a Plan
We’re here to help organize and simplify the financial lives of our clients. The majority of people don’t know where to begin, or feel overwhelmed by all of the information out there. We sort through the data and refine it through our process, which marries investing with financial planning, factoring in each person’s goals, time horizon and risk tolerance. Once we create a customized plan for their needs, we walk clients through it to make sure they understand and feel comfortable with every aspect of it.
Hadyn and the team at SPF work hard to earn their clients’ respect – and it shows.
Invested in Your Success
At our practice, we don’t think investing should be limited to the very wealthy. That’s one reason why we don’t require million-dollar account minimums. We are here to help you maximize your resources. We want to make your money work as hard as you do.
That said, we also help high net-worth clients who have multiple advisor relationships with different, much larger firms. One of the things we pride ourselves on is being able to offer clients a more personal experience than they might find at a larger branch.
Investing can be complicated. Why go it alone?
Your Life, Our Expertise
It’s gratifying to help clients manage issues that can be very stressful and know that we are making a difference. For instance, we can help prevent investors from making emotional decisions when the market is volatile or at stress points, like the COVID-19 pandemic. We are extremely empathetic, but we’re also strategic in making data-based recommendations. Walking shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients throughout their financial lives is truly a privilege.
In the end, money isn’t the only measure of success.
What Matters Most
I am delighted to partner with Judy Singleton and serve our SPF clients. For me, the work-life balance of this area and the culture of the Mountain West is so healthy. Yes, my career is important to me, but being a good dad, being a good husband, being a true friend? These things are also extremely important. That sense of balance is part of the culture at SPF – and one of the reasons I’m proud to work here.
SPF isn’t just based in Jackson. It’s part of Jackson.
Serving the Community
I volunteered at St. John’s Medical Center for six years. My father set a great example that I follow: He was a dentist who offered free dental work once or twice a month. At St. John’s I greeted patients at the door and asked, “What can I help you with?” I enjoy serving on boards and providing financial advice, like I do at the Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center and Teton Raptor Center. But I want to be a front line guy, too. I want to serve others. I want sick or anxious patients to know that I will take care of them.
Fun Facts
I grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia, at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the third of three sons. My parents gave me and my brothers an idyllic childhood. Our town was the kind of place where kids could ride bikes to the drug store to buy baseball cards. But more than that, my folks were the perfect role models for how to nurture a family and lifelong friendships.
Hadyn graduated from North Carolina State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He began his financial services career in 2010 at Morgan Stanley Baltimore, followed by a tenure at Brown Advisory, where he managed high net-worth clients and institutional relationships. In his spare time, Hadyn is an avid reader who enjoys skiing and golfing.
